Requires Minnesota hospitals licensed under sections 144.50 to 144.56 to disclose futility policies to parents of children (birth to 18 years) treated at the hospital.

Mandates hospitals file a copy of any adopted or implemented futility policy with the commissioner of health.

Defines "futility policy" as any written or unwritten policy that encourages hospital employees or medical professionals to withhold or discontinue treatment based on medical futility when doing so provides financial benefit to the hospital.

Applies only to futility policies affecting pediatric patients from birth through age 18.
