Hennepin County may convey three specific parcels of tax-forfeited land bordering public waters to governmental subdivisions at no cost, notwithstanding existing statutes and public sale requirements.

Section 1 authorizes conveyance of Government Lot 3 (tax ID 36-119-22 11 0004) to a state governmental subdivision for use as flood plain, open space, and wetland mitigation, with reversion to the state if those uses cease.

Section 2 authorizes conveyance of Government Lot 1, Section 19 (tax ID 19-120-22 22 0001) to a state governmental subdivision for wetland preservation, with reversion to the state if that use ceases.

Section 3 authorizes conveyance of Outlot A, Lake Jubert Estates (tax ID 29-119-23 43 0008) to the city of Corcoran for recreational trail and storm water ponding purposes, with reversion to the state if those uses cease.

All conveyances must be approved by the attorney general, who may correct legal descriptions, and become effective the day following final enactment.
