Requires the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees to consider student performance on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) as a means to determine admission eligibility.

Adds career readiness assessment tools, including the ASVAB-Career Exploration Program, to resources that school districts must help students and families identify and access for planning successful transitions to postsecondary education and employment.

Expands collaborative partnerships for student transition to include armed forces alongside existing partners such as postsecondary institutions, economic development agencies, and employers.

Prohibits school districts from requiring any curriculum, instruction, or employment-related activity that obligates students to involuntarily select a career, career interest, or employment goals.

Encourages school districts to seek nonstate revenue and in-kind contributions to fund implementation of student transition planning programs.
