Allows school districts and charter schools to publish required public notices electronically on official district websites as an alternative to or in addition to publishing in newspapers.

Permits electronic publication for notices related to proposed agreements, informational meetings, school closures, contract bids, construction project labor agreements, bond referendums, and election information.

Repeals Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 123B.143, which previously required superintendents to identify expenditures related to the rate at which students pass statewide assessments.

Modifies the definition of "successive weeks" for published notices to account for electronic formats when notices are published online.

All changes take effect the day following final enactment.
