Court must consider the reasonableness of attorney fees sought in relation to the amount of damages awarded when a statute provides for attorney fee awards to a prevailing party.

If a party rejects an offer of judgment under Rule 68 of the Rules of Civil Procedure and fails to obtain a verdict exceeding the offer amount, no attorney fees may be awarded for work performed after the offer was served.

Party rejecting an offer of judgment must disclose incurred attorney fees as of the offer's service date within the time period specified by Rule 68.

Effective August 1, 2011, and applies to actions commenced on or after that date.
