Commissioner shall identify and coordinate with one or more counties willing to issue foster care licenses and provide funding for people with autism receiving home and community-based services under Minnesota Statutes sections 256B.092 or 256B.49

Eligible children must be in out-of-home placements already approved by the lead agency with legal responsibility for the placement

Individual choice of provider must not be restricted by this program

Commissioner shall assist participating counties in obtaining necessary capacity within the moratorium process under Minnesota Statutes section 245A.03, subdivision 7

Commissioner shall coordinate with interested counties and issue a request for information to identify providers with appropriate training and skills to serve individuals with autism
