Allows school districts in eligible counties to levy for swimming pool renovation costs in addition to operational costs.

Eligible counties must have a population density of ten or fewer persons per square mile, an international border, and more than one school district within boundaries.

Renovation levy is capped at $200,000 per project per year and may be levied in the year of or the year following the renovation.

Qualifying renovation costs include deepening a swimming pool to meet Minnesota Rules part 4717.3475 regulations or repairing the structural integrity of a swimming pool.

Effective for taxes payable in 2013 and later.
