Reduces insurance certification period from 12 months to 6 months for limited driver's licenses issued under section 171.30 after license revocation under sections 169.792 or 169.797.

Reduces insurance certification period from 12 months to 6 months for restricted driver's licenses issued under the ignition interlock device program in section 171.306, subdivision 4.

Maintains all other conditions and requirements for obtaining limited licenses, including eligibility criteria based on license suspension or revocation grounds and hardship demonstrations.

Preserves ignition interlock device program requirements and restrictions, including device installation, vehicle restrictions, and conditions for license reinstatement.
