Expands the list of permitted colors for county sheriff vehicles to include black and gold in addition to brown and white.

Requires sheriff vehicles to display the identity of the county sheriff's office on both front door panels and rear of vehicle with contrasting lettering at least 2-1/2 inches high.

Allows security guards to continue operating predominantly gold-colored vehicles if they were being used that way before August 1, 2012.

Clarifies that security guard vehicles may use any color except those designated for law enforcement vehicles under the updated statute.
