Increases Health Sciences appropriation from $4,854,000 to $5,499,000 annually, adding $645,000 per year.

Allocates $645,000 each year for graduate family medicine education programs at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Establishes legislative intent that funding for Hennepin County Medical Center graduate family medicine programs shall continue in future biennia, whether from Health Sciences funding or general operations and maintenance funding, unless explicitly directed otherwise by the legislature.

Maintains existing $346,000 annual allocation to support up to 12 resident physicians in St. Cloud Hospital family practice residency program for rural primary care medicine.

Preserves remaining appropriation for rural physicians associates program, Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, health sciences research, dental care, and Biomedical Engineering Center.
