Requires advanced diagnostic imaging services (excluding x-ray, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy) operating in Minnesota to obtain accreditation from specified organizations: American College of Radiology (ACR), Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), the Joint Commission, or other entities designated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Makes accreditation a condition for reimbursement from any source including private insurance, workers' compensation, motor vehicle insurance, state employee insurance (SEGIP), and other state health care programs.

Establishes accreditation standards must include physician qualifications, medical physicist quality control monitoring, technologist qualifications with supervised clinical experience, personnel and patient safety guidelines, and clinical image review standards.

Requires existing facilities to obtain accreditation by August 1, 2013, and all new facilities must be accredited before commencing operations.

Mandates facilities and providers annually report accreditation status to the commissioner of health.
