Brooklyn Park Economic Development Authority may use tax increment financing powers under Minnesota Statutes section 469.176, subdivision 4m, to assist in development of an aquatic performance and wellness center on parcel number 2911921340004 if construction begins before July 1, 2013.

Authority to spend increments for the aquatic center project expires on July 1, 2014.

If the Authority establishes a tax increment financing district including parcel number 2911921340004, it may provide assistance in any form for development of that parcel, notwithstanding other statutory limitations including section 469.176, subdivision 4l, paragraph (a), clause (2).

Bill becomes effective upon Brooklyn Park's compliance with Minnesota Statutes section 645.021, subdivision 3.
