Commissioner of transportation must develop and implement guidelines for design, legend content, and placement of information signs on or near highway construction, maintenance, or improvement projects deemed prominent.

Information signs must display the type of project and planned completion season or month, to the extent practicable.

Signs may optionally include additional project information such as funding source and project cost.

Guidelines are codified as Minnesota Statutes, chapter 160, section 115.
