Appropriates funds from the general fund to the Commissioner of Corrections in fiscal year 2013 for settlement of claims against the state for losses and injuries suffered by incarcerated persons and those performing community service or sentence-to-service work.

Allocates $3,206.79 for sentence-to-service and community work service claims under $500 and other claims already paid by the department.

Provides $3,000 to Heather Buczynski for permanent ankle injuries during sentence-to-service work in St. Louis County, plus $2,268.82 for medical treatment.

Authorizes payments to Nathan Clark ($825), Gregory Prozinski medical providers ($1,295.48), Chad Westring ($12,270.75), and William Williams ($990) for injuries sustained during correctional facility work programs.

Appropriation available until June 30, 2013, for full and final payment under Minnesota Statutes sections 3.738 and 3.739.
