Commissioner of public safety must provisionally reinstate the Golden Valley deputy registrar office within 21 days of receiving notification from the city that specified conditions are met.

City of Golden Valley must submit a notification including a summary of internal investigation findings, review of audit recommendations, and documentation of staffing, training, supervision, and procedural changes implemented or planned.

Commissioner may require the deputy registrar to file a bond and comply with any established best practices as conditions of service.

Commissioner and Office of Administrative Hearings retain authority to impose sanctions after provisional reinstatement, including additional closure, permanent closure, or fines.

Provision is effective the day following final enactment.
