Expands the definition of "associated business" to include a person or association from which an individual receives compensation over $50 per month (excluding actual and reasonable expenses) as a director, officer, owner, member, partner, employer, employee, or holds securities worth $2,500 or more at fair market value.

Adds a new category of "associated business" to include lobbyists, principals, or interested persons who compensate an individual over $200 annually for services as an independent contractor or consultant.

When an association pays an individual to provide services to a lobbyist, principal, or interested person, both the association and the recipient entity are classified as associated businesses.

Defines "interested person" as someone with a direct financial interest in decisions made by a public or local official, where the financial interest is of greater consequence to that person than the general interest of other residents or taxpayers.
