Appropriates $3,000,000 from bond proceeds to the commissioner of natural resources for Minnesota forest conservation and acquisition projects.

Allocates $1,500,000 to acquire conservation easements on private forest lands and within federally-designated forest legacy areas, with requirements guaranteeing public access for hunting and fishing.

Allocates $1,500,000 to acquire perpetual easements and fee title on approximately 700 acres of private forest lands primarily within state forest boundaries from willing sellers.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $3,000,000 to provide funding for the appropriations.

Effective the day following final enactment.
