Amends Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 244.052, subdivision 4, to clarify the community notification law regarding predatory offenders.

Adds cross-reference to section 253B.185, subdivision 10a, paragraph (a), which governs notification and disclosure scope for individuals committed under civil commitment laws.

Specifies that disclosure restrictions for offenders in residential facilities do not apply to exceptions provided in section 253B.185, subdivision 10a, paragraph (a).

Adds new subdivision (k) explicitly directing readers to section 253B.185, subdivision 10a, for information on notification scope for civilly committed individuals under section 253B.185 or Minnesota Statutes 1992, section 526.10.

Effective the day following final enactment.
