Exempts licensed attorneys and direct employees of licensed attorneys from real estate closing agent licensing requirements under Minnesota Statutes section 82.641 and related sections.

Amends subdivision 1 of section 82.641 to clarify that the licensing requirement applies "except as otherwise provided in subdivision 6," establishing the exemption framework.

Adds licensed attorneys and their direct employees to the existing list of exempt persons in subdivision 6, which previously included title companies, real estate professionals, financial institutions, and title insurance companies.

Both amendments become effective the day following final enactment.
