Authorizes Independent School District No. 284, Wayzata to levy for administrative space leases under Minnesota Statutes section 126C.40, subdivision 1, notwithstanding existing restrictions.

Requires the district to demonstrate to the commissioner of education that leasing administrative space is less expensive than leasing instructional space.

Mandates the district pass a resolution stating intent to lease instructional space if the commissioner denies the administrative lease authority request.

Limits total levy authority for administrative leases to not exceed the amount authorized under Minnesota Statutes section 126C.40, subdivision 1, paragraph (e).

Takes effect for taxes payable in 2013 and later.
