Hennepin County may convey three parcels of tax-forfeited land bordering public waters to governmental subdivisions at no cost, notwithstanding existing state statutes governing tax-forfeited land sales.

First parcel (Government Lot 3, Section 36, Township 119 North, Range 22 West, tax ID 36-119-22 11 0004) shall be conveyed for use as flood plain, open space, and wetland mitigation purposes and reverts to the state if those uses cease.

Second parcel (Government Lot 1, Section 19, Township 120 North, Range 22 West, tax ID 19-120-22 22 0001) shall be conveyed for wetland preservation purposes and reverts to the state if that use ceases.

Third parcel (Outlot A, Lake Jubert Estates, tax ID 29-119-23 43 0008) shall be conveyed to the city of Corcoran for recreational trail and storm water ponding purposes and reverts to the state if those uses cease.

Attorney general approval is required for all conveyances, which may include necessary corrections to legal descriptions, and the act becomes effective the day following final enactment.
