Amends Minnesota Statutes section 169.81, subdivision 3, to allow vehicle combinations transporting "property" or "equipment" to operate on divided highways with four or more lanes and other designated highways.

Expands the types of cargo eligible for length exemptions beyond the current list of poles, pulpwood, and utility emergency materials to include general property and equipment transport.

Maintains the 75-foot maximum length limit statewide except on specified divided highways where truck-tractor and semitrailer combinations may exceed this limit.

Exempts emergency vehicles, construction vehicles, oversize permit holders, and vehicles on the Stillwater lift bridge from the 55-foot length restriction on marked Trunk Highway 36 in Stillwater.

Takes effect the day following final enactment.
