Authorizes municipalities (cities and towns) to make grants to emergency medical services agencies, in addition to existing authority to make grants to hospitals.

Applies to emergency medical services agencies as defined in Minnesota Statutes section 144.7401 that serve the municipality.

Requires grants to be authorized by the city council or town board, approved by affirmative vote of town electors at an annual or special town meeting.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 465.037, which previously limited municipal grants to private, nonprofit, or public hospitals.
