Commissioner of Transportation must pay costs for infrastructure improvements necessitated by construction on marked Trunk Highway 44 in the city of Caledonia

Improvements include 16 additional light poles, curb and radius repairs, sidewalk replacement or repair, overhead safety lighting at pedestrian crossings with warning beacons, and other infrastructure damage repair or public safety measures

All improvements shall be determined in consultation with the city of Caledonia

Funding must come from existing appropriations to transportation district 6 and does not change the trunk highway funding allocation process, formula, or total amount allocated to the district

Effective date is the day following final enactment
