Amends Minnesota Statutes section 268.035, subdivision 20 to modify the definition of "noncovered employment" for unemployment compensation purposes.

Excludes administrators in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system from the noncovered employment category for major policy-making or advisory positions in the unclassified service.

Makes administrators in the MnSCU system eligible for unemployment compensation coverage, reversing their previous noncovered status.

Effective the day following final enactment and retroactive to July 1, 2010.
