• Appropriates $100,050,000 from the outdoor heritage fund for fiscal year 2014 to acquire and restore lands for wildlife habitat, prairies, forests, wetlands, and aquatic areas through partnerships with conservation organizations.

• Appropriates $97,301,000 (FY2014) and $97,680,000 (FY2015) from the clean water fund for water quality monitoring, watershed restoration strategies, stormwater management, groundwater protection, and county-level subsurface sewage treatment system programs.

• Appropriates $42,509,000 (FY2014) and $42,596,000 (FY2015) from the parks and trails fund for state parks, regional trail development, and land acquisition outside the metropolitan area, including specific projects like the Mesabi Trail and Mississippi River corridor improvements.
