Commissioner of Health must assess and report on quality of care for ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) response and treatment in Minnesota.

Commissioner shall utilize and analyze de-identified data from STEMI receiving centers submitted to the ACTION Registry-Get with the Guidelines or equivalent platform.

Department of Health must post quarterly summary reports of aggregated data on its website.

Commissioner must annually inform legislative committees with public health jurisdiction of progress in improving STEMI quality of care and patient outcomes.

Commissioner shall coordinate with national voluntary health organizations to encourage STEMI receiving centers to report data consistent with nationally recognized treatment guidelines and share quality improvement information among providers.
