Prohibits employers from requiring employees to sign nondisclosure agreements or waivers that restrict wage disclosure as a condition of employment.

Prevents employers from taking adverse employment action against employees for disclosing their own wages or discussing another employee's voluntarily disclosed wages.

Does not create an obligation for employers or employees to disclose wages, nor does it permit disclosure of proprietary information, trade secrets, or legally privileged information.

Does not permit employees to disclose wage information to competitors or diminish existing rights under the National Labor Relations Act or other state and federal employment laws.

Takes effect the day following enactment.
