Amends Minnesota Statutes section 256I.04, subdivision 2b, to allow the state commissioner to directly enter into agreements with providers serving veterans in Stearns County, in addition to existing county-level agreements.

Requires all group residential housing agreements to be in writing and specify the provider's name, address, license information, bed count, per diem and monthly rates, and confirmation of not-for-profit status if applicable.

Permits termination of agreements by either party with two calendar months prior notice, whether for cause or without cause.

Designates Stearns County to retain monitoring and oversight responsibility for the commissioner-level veteran housing agreement.

Takes effect the day following final enactment.
