Establishes a school year-long student teaching pilot program for the 2014-2015 through 2017-2018 school years to provide teacher candidates with intensive classroom learning combining clinical experience with academic coursework.

Allows approved teacher preparation programs in partnership with school districts or charter schools to apply to the Board of Teaching to participate in the pilot program.

Requires student teachers in the program to have access to mentor teacher teams, ongoing coaching and assessment, individual professional development plans, and structured learning experiences developed with local education professionals.

Board of Teaching must make effort to select qualified and diverse applicants from throughout the state and submit annual data-based reports to education policy and finance committees by February 1.

Permits school districts participating in the pilot program to use staff development revenue to fund the school year-long student teaching program.
