Commissioner of Education must convene a working group to develop recommendations for Minnesota to participate in and adopt the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children

Working group membership must include teachers, school board members, school administrators, military members with school-age children, and other interested stakeholders

Working group recommendations must address acceptance of out-of-state exams and course credits, course requirement waivers based on similar completed coursework, flexible enrollment requirements, and extracurricular activity participation requirements

Commissioner must submit report with working group recommendations to legislative committees and divisions with jurisdiction over K-12 education and veterans issues by January 12, 2015
