Commissioner may issue correction orders for home care provider noncompliance and must mail or email them within 30 calendar days after survey exit date, with providers required to document corrective actions taken.

Licensed home care providers may request written reconsideration of correction orders within 15 calendar days of receipt, with the commissioner responding within 60 days; reconsideration process does not apply to temporary licensees.

Commissioner may temporarily suspend a license for not more than 90 days without prior hearing if level 3 or 4 violations exist, with a contested case hearing required within 30 days unless extended by an administrative law judge.

Commissioner must request assignment of an administrative law judge within 15 business days of receiving a licensee's appeal of a sanction, with hearing conducted within 90 calendar days unless extended for good cause or if criminal action is pending.

For appeals of temporary suspensions, an administrative law judge must conduct a hearing within 30 calendar days of the assignment request, with final commissioner order issued within 10 business days after the record closes.
