Permits a specific eligible person to purchase allowable service credit in the Public Employees Police and Fire Retirement Plan (PERA-P&F) for pre-2003 employment with the Mille Lacs tribal police department.

Eligible person must have been born June 28, 1966, initially employed as a full-time police officer by Mille Lacs tribal police on October 29, 1998, and currently be an active PERA-P&F member.

Allows purchase of service credit for the two-year period of Mille Lacs tribal police employment immediately preceding the person's initial active membership in PERA-P&F.

Payment amount calculated under Minnesota Statutes section 356.551 based on full actuarial value of the prior service credit.

Authority to make the service credit purchase expires June 30, 2015, or upon the eligible person's termination from public employment, whichever occurs first.
