Modifies Laws 2008, chapter 363, article 5, section 4, subdivision 7 regarding Fish and Wildlife Management appropriations.

Allocates $300,000 in 2009 from the heritage enhancement account in the game and fish fund for shooting sports facilities and hunter education.

Designates $200,000 for studying, predesigning, and designing a shooting sports facility in the seven-county metropolitan area and establishing hunter education, firearms safety, and archery ranges on public land.

Allocates $100,000 as a grant to the Itasca County Gun Club for shooting sports facility improvements.

Appropriates $300,000 in 2009 from the game and fish fund for activities that improve, enhance, or protect fish and wildlife resources; both amounts are available onetime only.
