Amends Minnesota Statutes section 177.255, subdivision 6, to regulate employer use of payroll cards for wage payments.

Requires employers to obtain written employee consent before initiating wage payments via payroll card, with consent terms and conditions provided in writing and a copy retained by both parties.

Allows employers to require payroll card payments only if they first provide employees a 30-day notice form offering the option to submit direct deposit account information instead, with failure to respond presumed as consent to payroll card.

Prohibits employers from changing an employee's existing payment method (direct deposit or check) to payroll card without explicit written employee consent under the standard consent provisions.

Clarifies that payroll card payment consent cannot be made a condition of hire or continued employment, except under the 30-day opt-out notice procedure.
