Amends the Minnesota Task Force on Prematurity to revise its duties by removing requirements to develop and disseminate evidence-based practices, review research on causes and effects of premature births, review premature infant health care research, and identify gaps in public reporting measures.

Modifies the task force's remaining duties to focus on promoting adherence to care standards for infants born before 37 weeks gestational age, coordinating information among professional organizations, and identifying resources for caregivers.

Changes the final report deadline from November 30, 2011 to January 15, 2015, and expands the report recipients to include both chairs and ranking minority members of legislative policy committees on health and human services.

Consolidates the task force's reporting requirements from two separate reports into a single final report due January 15, 2015, eliminating the separate January 15, 2013 deadline for final recommendations and draft legislation.

Extends the task force expiration date from January 31, 2013 to January 31, 2015, or upon submission of the final report, whichever occurs first.
