Requires disclosure of genetically engineered food and seed sold in Minnesota starting January 1, 2015, with the label "Produced with Genetic Engineering" placed clearly and conspiciously on packages, containers, or retail displays by manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

Exempts processed foods where genetically engineered materials comprise less than 0.9 percent by weight, foods using genetically engineered processing aids or enzymes only, organic certified foods, restaurant prepared foods, and animal products from non-genetically engineered animals regardless of their feed or medications.

Protects producers and retailers from liability if they unknowingly sell genetically engineered commodities or processed foods, provided they obtain signed written statements from suppliers confirming non-genetic engineering origin and segregation.

Prohibits labeling genetically engineered food, food products, seed, or seed stock as "natural" on labels, packaging, or similar identification.

Grants the commissioner of commerce authority to adopt rules and enforce the disclosure requirements through powers under Minnesota Statutes section 45.027.
