Requires advanced diagnostic imaging service facilities to obtain licensure under sections 144.50 to 144.56 or accreditation from ACR, IAC, the Joint Commission, or other HHS-designated organizations to receive reimbursement from any source including private insurance, workers' compensation, motor vehicle insurance, SEGIP, and state health programs.

Mandates accreditation standards include physician qualifications, quality control and performance monitoring by medical physicist, technologist qualifications with minimum supervised clinical experience, personnel and patient safety guidelines, and initial and ongoing quality control using clinical image review and quantitative testing.

Requires existing facilities providing advanced diagnostic imaging services to obtain licensure or accreditation by August 1, 2013.

Requires all new facilities to obtain licensure or accreditation prior to commencing operations and to maintain either licensure or accreditation at all times.
