Extends the expiration date of the Newborn Hearing Screening Advisory Committee from June 30, 2013 to June 30, 2019.

Data collected by or submitted to the Department of Health under the early hearing detection and intervention program is exempt from public disclosure requirements under Minnesota Statutes section 144.125, subdivisions 6 to 9.

The advisory committee continues to advise the Department of Health and Department of Education on screening protocols, diagnostic assessments, follow-up tracking systems, and culturally appropriate services for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
