Applies to Level III sex offenders violating conditional release terms, violent offenders at secure treatment facilities, and sex offenders convicted under sections 609.342-609.345 and 609.3453.

Removes language allowing offenders to reduce their conditional release term by time served on supervised release, establishing full conditional release terms of 5-10 years or lifetime as applicable.

Specifies that offenders on supervised release do not receive credit against their conditional release term for time spent in confinement for release violations.

All amendments effective August 1, 2013, applying only to crimes committed on or after that date.
