Prohibits school boards from declining to renew a coaching contract based solely on the existence of parent complaints.

Requires school boards to notify coaches within 14 days of deciding not to renew a coaching contract.

Mandates school boards provide written reasons for nonrenewal within ten days of a coach's request.

Allows coaches to request and receive a reasonable opportunity to respond to nonrenewal reasons at a board meeting, which may be open or closed at the coach's election unless private data is discussed.

Effective the day following final enactment.
