Amends Minnesota Statutes section 595.02, subdivision 1 to protect communications and documents from collaborative law processes from disclosure in court proceedings.

Extends existing mediation privilege protections to include collaborative law processes by prohibiting examination of communications or documents made during collaborative law.

Provides that privilege applies to parties in disputes except when one party seeks to have a collaborative law agreement set aside or reformed.

Clarifies that communications otherwise not privileged do not become privileged solely because they occurred during collaborative law, and does not limit common law privileges for collaborative law communications.
