Requires school districts and charter schools to annually report electronically to the education commissioner on school lock-down drills carried out under Minnesota Statutes section 121A.035

Reports must include the date and time of each drill, students' location during the drill, the number of children participating, and any other information requested by the commissioner

Commissioner must maintain and make available a model crisis management policy to school boards and charter schools that includes school lock-down and tornado drills, consistent with subdivision 2, and school fire drills

Information collected through the reporting requirement will help districts, charter schools, and the commissioner evaluate the overall efficacy of lock-down drills in ensuring children's safety in school
