Allows public authority to suspend the medical support obligation of a non-custodial parent if the parent with primary physical custody fails to maintain court-ordered dependent health care coverage for the joint child.

Requires public authority to notify both parties of the pending suspension, which takes effect 30 days after notice unless proof of coverage is provided, a hearing is requested, or a modification motion is filed.

Permits either party to request a hearing within 30 days, which must be scheduled in district court or expedited child support process with at least 14 days' notice to parties.

Allows reinstatement of the medical support obligation within 30 days after public authority receives proof of dependent health care coverage, subject to the same contest procedures as suspension.

District court or child support magistrate must determine whether suspension or reinstatement is appropriate and set the effective date.
