Requires operators of residential housing facilities to notify local law enforcement when a resident required to register as a predatory offender absconds from the facility and does not return as directed or according to facility rules.

Notification duty arises when a resident has been absent for at least 48 hours without returning or explaining their absence to the operator.

Operators must notify local law enforcement within 24 hours of when the duty to report is triggered.

Applies to nursing homes, boarding care homes, supervised living facilities, housing with services establishments, boarding and lodging establishments providing supportive services, and adult foster care homes.

Operators who fail to report as required may be subject to license sanctions by the appropriate licensing agency.
