Eliminates the advisory committee requirement for establishing uniform consumer information guides for assisted living providers, allowing the commissioner of health to adopt formats directly.

Eliminates peer advisory task forces previously consulted by the commissioner regarding medical necessity determinations for medical assistance vendor sanctions and medical records access.

Clarifies that four specific advisory groups did not expire on June 30, 2009, validating their continued existence and all actions taken since that date: the Medical Assistance Drug Formulary Committee, Environmental Health Tracking and Biomonitoring Advisory Panel, Water Supply Systems and Wastewater Treatment Facilities Advisory Council, and Prescription Electronic Reporting Advisory Committee.

Sets expiration date of June 30, 2018 for the laboratory accreditation selection committee and June 30, 2019 for the water supply systems advisory council.
