Authorizes special "WOMAN VETERAN" license plates for women who have served in active military service and were discharged under honorable conditions.

Plates must bear the inscription "WOMAN VETERAN" and include a facsimile or emblem designated by the commissioners of veterans affairs and public safety.

Applicants must pay a $10 fee per set of plates plus applicable registration taxes, consistent with other veterans' special license plate categories.

Commissioner of veterans affairs shall design the plates in consultation with the commissioner of public safety, a representative of the Minnesota Women Veterans Initiative Working Group, and interested veterans service organizations.

Changes are effective January 1, 2015.
