Commissioner of education granted access to facilities, records, and staff for investigations and inspections without prior notice and may request assistance from other governmental agencies.

Criminal background checks conducted by Bureau of Criminal Apprehension through fingerprinting and national records search, with costs recovered through applicant fees.
