Classifies automated license plate reader (ALPR) data as private data on individuals or nonpublic data under Minnesota data practices law.

Requires destruction of ALPR data within 24 hours of collection, with exceptions for vehicles or plates reported stolen, vehicles with arrest warrants, owners with suspended or revoked licenses, or active investigative data.

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 13.82 by adding a new subdivision defining ALPR data and establishing the destruction requirement.

Takes effect the day following final enactment.
