Allows charter schools to give enrollment preference to children who are eligible to receive a free or reduced-price lunch.

Charter schools that provide this preference must identify the manner and order of preference in their admission and lottery policy and on their website.

Charter schools must give at least 180 days' notice on their website before discontinuing the enrollment preference for free or reduced-price lunch eligible children.

Maintains existing admission limitations based on age group, grade level, graduation incentives program eligibility, and geographic area for underserved populations.

Effective for the 2013-2014 school year and later.
